Gas Compressibility Calculator – Z

This calculator will calculate Z for almost any composition of natural gas using the Soave-Redlich-Kwong equations of state. These equations of state were design for hydrocarbons.

In addition, other gas properties will be given for the mixture (molecular weight, critical pressure and temperature, the reduced temperature and pressure ratios, heat capacity at constant pressure and volume – Cp / Cv, the acentric value and the specific gravity). The heat capacities are given at (25 °C [77 °F] - 1 atm [1.013 bar] [14.696 psi]).

The Z factor should be verified in critical applications along with the other properties.
